VistaCam 1200 Wi-Fi Doorbell Installation Instructions
Congratulations on choosing the VistaCam 1200 Doorbell Camera. It’s now easier to see and even talk to whoever is on your doorstep when you’re not at home. Installing the VistaCam 1200 doorbell is a relatively straightforward process if your home already has low-voltage wiring from an existing doorbell, but if you decide to use this as a stand-alone doorbell there’s also a small power adapter in the box.
Before starting the installation make sure you are familiar with the contents of the included accessories and also consult our list of compatible mechanical and digital chimes on our website.
For convenience, you are also provided with faceplates in three colors and three angled mounting plates to accommodate installation on both flat and angled surfaces.
Important: If you use a Vera controller, make sure it’s updated to the latest available firmware (minimum version must be 7.0.31 , released on September 2nd ) for the Doorbell to be detected and paired correctly.
