Will my devices still work if my controller is moved or removed from the system?

A: Yes. Your controller is only used to manage and direct those devices. They still function as normal when your controller is not around. You do not have to worry about disconnecting your controller from your power source because all of your settings will be maintained. The only exceptions are in-wall scene controllers and remote controls since they are not actually wired to anything.

If you are moving or installing the system in a new home or office, you will find that all your devices are still paired and recognized by the controller. You may need to rename some devices if you move them to different rooms or different locations.

Note: When moving the system, it is a good idea to let the network re-establish communication links between devices.
